Yes, I find it hard to understand how otherwise (apparently) intelligent people can get into this stuff. Seems we are--most unfortunately--living in an age of fanaticism. A lot of insecurity, a great many people who're absolutely desperate to find the Right Way.

Sick. Doubt and uncertainty are a part of life. You gotta get used to it.
