jj, Lots of gurus achieved that status by one great call of something of that sort. I've never quite understood what these guys did to get famous. They are syndicated on the business page of my local newspaper, The Houston Chronicle. I suppose they are no worse than Jane Bryant Quinn or Scott Burns or any of the rest of this ilk. I do dislike the fact that they are the mainstream and claim to be alternatives. But, hey, if trend followers can claim to be contrarians, then why not?
