i2 Technologies (ITWO) 19.97 +1.93: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.02 a share, in line with the First Call consensus of $0.02, vs year-ago earnings of $0.04. License revenues grew 86 percent over the first quarter of 2000 to $211 million from $114 million, and first quarter 2001 total revenues grew 91 percent to $357 million from $186 million in 2000. Says Q2 revenue will be sequentially down and expects growth in total revenues this year between 15-20 percent.

Openwave (OPWV) 33.00 +3.01: Reports Q3 earnings of $0.09 a share, in line with the First Call consensus of $0.09; revenues rose 235.3% to $130.03 mln (consensus $127 mln) from a year-ago of $38.78 mln. Company provides forward guidance: 10-20% sequential revenue growth through Dec; CY01 revenues to $640 mln and pro forma EPS to $0.46. Available estimates are for FY01 (Jun) and therefore are not comparable, but the sequential growth looks to roughly in line with expectations.

IBM (IBM) 106.50 +6.80: Company reports Q1 EPS of $0.98, in line with consensus.
