Over on the Yahoo thread, a lot of rumors being spread.
A Mr. Pink esq, who was bad mouthing the stock for months, has all of a sudden changed his tune, because he talked to his sister, who works for Morgan Stanley and says that they"have been working feverisly on a recommendation", but according to office rules he wasn't able to find out the recommendation, but he says it is suppost to come out this week! I think its bullshit.
Another rumor says that Dean whitter, Driefus fund, and two other funds have huge buy orders in this week. This was from another person.
The only solid information, which was posted by the same person, gave a list of 15 funds that owned positions. Smith Barney was listed, along with the Driefus fund, Dean whitter was listed, along with CALPERS, and a few others I don't remember. 3-4 added to their positions, 2-3 sold positions, including Jeff Vinik, from the big fund. It sounded solid, but I told him to post the source of info.
Who knows now day, there are so many rumors floating. I'm going to start my own rumor. Warren Buffet has sold have of his Silver holdings, to buy a 10% stake in Actrade! :) |
