MFS-I understand your point but I don't believe that breaching 2Bil. in revenue in l999 is such a rosy scenario or stretch for LSI. 1997 revenues were 1.29b and Symbios had over 600 m. according to the 7/23 cc which talked about the acquisition. The exciting thing is not that LSI will do well over 2bil. in 2000 but that there should be higher margins resulting from the restructuring and from a growing utilization rate at Gresham. Along with these prospects is a high cash generation rate thanks to depr and amort. Those things which were discussed ad nauseam in the doldrums of last summer are coming to fruition and the rewards for long-time bulls are getting closer and more certain.
I thought it was very astute of Wilf to illuminate the growth prospects in China,tag LSI again as a beneficiary of the internet revolution, and set such a low bogey as 2bil. in the minds of the investing public.
