By the way Orckit also has said adamantly that they refuse to pay any
royalties and licensing fees.

In both cases, we don't know if both companies have found a way
to work around the patents or that they are posturing so as to
place themselves in a better position if it ever gets down
to the negotiation table.

Amati claims they cannot sue unless an actual sale is made.
Trial orders don't count according to John Sebastian Steenbergen.
But a trial order is still a paid order isn't it? Pat, maybe
you can help clarify.
