Dear Tom : Thank you for your agreement to save Danny's marriage. I had an opp. to minister to a couple this week; Pat and Becky. Pat was a minister at one time and a missionary. Since: he has fallen away from his calling. He has reached out to the Lord in recent months and is "strangly" feeling the call of God on his life again. Lack of salvation is not a problem; however I feel discipleship is a legitimate concern. Pat has also been out of work since Jan. ,has three children and is very depressed. I hope I am right about this, but first things first, I feel Pat should humble himself before God and repent for all his past failures. Then, putting all that behind him, enjoying the freedom that we have in Christ, wherewith Christ hath made us free, free indeed; that god will put him to work in the temporal world, first, so he can support his family, and then put him to work in the kingdom of heaven where he will reap eternal rewards...
