Wind shear ,,,a serious problem in aviation. It would be a serious problem to contend with in marine transportation, especially for a ship of that size in a confined channel due to “turning effect “ as in the definition. Crews dealing with those behemoths daily,, would be aware of wind shear as they are in aviation.
