CGI is the largest Canadian systems integration company. It offers a full range of services in outsourcing, systems integration, consulting and business solutions. As a strategic partner in Canada with Bell Canada and IBM, CGI has been experiencing excellent growth in both revenue and profitability. The stock rise is recent because CGI is only becoming known recently outside its customer base. Growth has been mostly fuelled by customer references and contacts. With some recent major contracts being announced in Canada and internationally, institutional investors are starting to notice the low price/revenue ratio relative to U.S. firms in the same industry.
