Cooters,

I am reading about all the goings on at Symbol. Man its crazy how screwed up they are! I am not sure where to begin with the questions I have but perhaps a good start would be trying to differentiate between Symbol and Una and where exactly they compete. And if that is easy, the next question would be if there are signs una is gaining ground in symbols areas. Finally, if una doesn't get these licensing agreements, who would beat them out? Symbol seems to have a big installed base. It is a bit hard to imagine they are as screwed up as indeed they are, but I'd like to be able to understand how its come to this...its as if new management comes in and sees that there is no way to right the ship because they are entrenched in the wrong part of the business, ie, maybe una has patents that screw symbol for infinity(funny talk I know but The big Q certainly demonstrated how to perform this miracle).

A couple months ago there was insider buying at symbol. Weird.

A couple more guys at symbol will probably leave. At least two more guys came over from csco with the guy who just left.
