CAROLINE --- GOOD MORNING ---My understanding is that until this fall LU could only use cash to buy other companies . In the fall LU will be out of the spin-off restrictions from ATT and will be able to use the value of there stock for the purchase of other companies ( tax free stock swap ,etc ) . As notice the value has increase and will allow the company to acquire much larger acquisitions that will help it grow BEST WISHES BILL
