I agree with those who say this is much ado about "almost" nothing. The
Starr report reads like a Judith Kranz novel. Its luridness is designed to
imflame emotion, but there is little substance of "impeachable" offense.
There are fundamental infractions to which the constitution refers when
impeachment is at issue. This is another example of the right-wing moralists
yielding way too much power in this country. Clinton is not our first
"sleazy" president, nor will he be our last. The fundamental infractions
of Reagan's administration make Clinton's pale in comparison.
