A member of the Raging Bull board was in touch with Stephen Fleming President of Pageant Technology, wholly owned by MMTI. He was asked what's going on with the 8 bit chip, Allied Signal, Intel Trust, & Nasdaq filing. His reply was " Things are going smoothly and according to plan, no problems. Intel Trust( which owns 3.6 Million shares of MMTI), as far we know there is no relationship to Intel. He also asked about the article "Japanse play catch up on Magnetic Ram" an article in which MMTI was not mentioned. Mr. Fleming replied, "Realize that there are many publications out there and we are NOT actively trying to get exposure. The Scientific American & Popular Science articles were written on their own volition. We are trying hard not to give the impression that we are hyping the stock. The technology will sell itself. The 8-bit sample should be ready within weeks and we are currently in talks with several Major Players in the memory industry." Trading was very heavy on Friday, 416,000 shares and MMTI was up over 50%. If MMTI has prototypes with non-volatility and speeds of 5 nanoseconds it will be a major breakthrough in digital memory. If MMTI can conclude a deal with a major player and get NASDAQ listing the downside risk is greatly reduced and the upside remains enormous.
