Lissa Morgenthaler biotech and HGSI 9/26/01 3:26 PM ET CNBC talking about margin call rumors. I have no trouble believing there could be margin calls out there, but Todd's explanation yesterday seems simpler --- those celebrating Yom Kippur tomorrow are likely to flatten their positions today. David Faber was also talking about HGSI and the rumor that the Lee Bass Group might still be selling their stock. (Anybody know if Montgomery is still the biggest seller of HGSI?) I asked the CFO of HGSI about the Bass Group yesterday but he couldn't comment, though he agreed that the selling action in HGSI last week was disproportionate. long HGSI and probably gonna nibble a little more today
