I don't think MGD is finished. A lot of the Junior Mines have an initial run-up on someone else's coattails only to fall back and lay low for a while. EMT's big run-up happened just after the Cartaway and Timbuktu hype. The VSE and ASE indexes where on overdrive at this time. The damage done by the scandals put the whole market on ice for July and August but for the past 2 weeks activity is beginning to pick up. Witness ISX, GYR, GXP, PCR: They are all coming back to life after a dormant period. MGD has been showing some strength over the past 2 weeks on increased volume and prices up from the .68 levels. No doubt some of it is residual interest from the indonesian area play, but it seems like the appetite for speculation is increasing. The only cautions are not to jump into companies which are somewhat inflated and thus in an ambiguous situation eg. GSL.
It would also be a good idea to step out of the market if Timbuktu resumes trading since the stock will cause a lot of attention on risks and junior mines. The BNO situation also has the potential to cause jitters, ie. profit taking.
