That is a tough question. What is going to turn you turbine? Steam? An engine? Or are you going to charge batteries and use an inverter such as required by solar or some wind applications? In general a small household user would never be able to sell back to the utility. You would never make it cheap enough, unless you were using solar, but then you will have had a larger capital outlay to get started.
