>>My question for Iomegans: Given the blow-out earnings last quarter and the subsequent decline in the stock price, do you think another blow-out quarter will be sufficient for Wall Street to take notice? How long are we going to have to wait for the bullish case to be realized?<<

Joel -

A good set of questions. If I knew the answer to either of them, I'd be happy about it.

But I'm not sure these questions should be directed to the bulls. Would your firm begin to reconsider its short position if this quarter's report showed sequential growth in EPS? That would constitute a major upside surprise, would it not? If that wouldn't do it, what kind of report would it take? Or would you have to see more than one quarter more of good results?

>>If we see more insider selling would they be cause for concern?<<

Now this is a question that should be considered by bulls. As for me, I'm not concerned by Mr. Nageshwar's sale. But I would be concerned if Kim Edwards were to sell a substantial part of his holdings.

I am also sure that the Street would take a dim view of any new wave of selling similar to what happened in the fall. That would certainly depress the stock price once again.

But unless there is some indication that sales will not continue to increase worldwide, or that costs are not continuing to decrease, or that some competitor actually has a prayer of unseating Zip as the world's most popular superfloppy, I think I'll remain bullish on IOM for the long term.
