Hi Elmo - Did you know that SON is on the Board of CSCO as of October 1995. Why did CSCO elect to join Microsoft in the development of their own Network Directory standard???....I doubt SON had much influence with the CSCO decision eventhough he had "monitary" interests to push the Novell NDS standard. www-hk.cisco.com from the article "...Mr. Son replaces Carol Bartz, president, CEO and chairman of Autodesk, Inc. on Cisco's board...." I think SON see's bigger returns on his Japan CSCO franchise than his Novell software franchise. EKS
