Is not it true that the "total leadership" was the main idea of Intel? Is not it true that Intel always wanted to dictate - which platform to use, droping supplies at will, changing design specifications at their discretion making the platform design cycle so short that manufacturers do not have time to scoop any profits? Is not the "Intel Inside" motto being the major part of the idea to dominate and undermine its customers? What are you complaining about? Barrett is just coming to the natural conclusion of the global Intel's strategy. As simple as that. - Ali
