Don't overlook the fact that there are people getting rich off of the poor......I don't mean the businesses....I'm talking about the govt employees....big wages, big benefits, big severances (occasionally), big pensions and BIG security

EDIT: in Canada when ther were large percentages of people finding employment and getting out of the official poverty group, there was a concern that the "helpers" were doing too god of a job.....a concern that a few might actually work their way out of a job. What a dilemma....well being as ingenius as thay are they came up with a solution. They just raised the poverty level. With the stroke of a pen, they had created a whole new group of impoverished, larger than the one they started with. Funny, tho, no complaints about them not doing a very good job.....now they lobbied for more social workers to "help" with the new caseload.
