Hi Russ.

Thanks for your perspective on commodities. I really only invest in metals, and I'm almost embarrassed to say that at heart I seek to allocate capital to grow promising young technology companies. In that respect, I consider myself 6-parts a value investor, and 6-parts a technology investor.

Unfortunately, the two are completely at odds at the present time, so for me it's either get right out of the market and take up fishing (which isn't actually a bad idea!), or trying to extend my skill into value investing in junior precious metals/metals/oil & gas companies. And I've developed a fascination for macro analysis of global credit conditions. This seems to be a very primary driver of prices in all investment markets.

I look forward to your analysis of commodities going forward. I have a lot to learn in this area. It's a fascinating time to be an investor that's for sure.

Best regards,
Glenn
