As an American woman, she has no choice but to strategize every second of her career. Yes, it is called Flip-Flopping. And the Clinton's are good at it. They have no principles and will change their politics to accomodate what they think the voters want. This is THE REASON the Clinton presidency was such a failure (and conversely, Bush's refusal to do it is the reason his presidency is becoming one of greatness). As senator, she's up for reelection in 2006..... As absurdly liberal as NY is, I'm not all that sure she'd win reelection. I just hope I'm still around in 2012 to see Condi Rice STOMP Hillary in the presidential election. Hell, I can't even wait for the debates.
