I was a sleep when they past out the EE degrees. So I may not understand the absolute value of ADSL. But, I had a vision of an appliance that would combine the computer/tv into one appliance. In my vision such a device would result in a new technology revolution. The catalist for this revolution is the expansion in the household. Currently about 30% of the households have computer/internet access. If you could put the capabilities of the internet in a interface as friendly as a tv, you could have a device that could penetrate 100% of the households in America.

Those of you have a complete understanding of bandwidth issues
please answer the following about my vision.

1) was it the drugs?

2) is it possible to distribute video on a computer the same as a Tv would use cable with ADSL?

3) Would the corporation owning this technology own the world??
