The law for one, and the judgment that our children would be better off without a protracted and deeply rooted economic collapse.

Whose judgment? BHO's? There is no evidence, whatsoever, that this trillion dollar boondogle has done ONE THING toward improving the economy. Hell, the recession would have been over by now had they not spent a nickel.

The same law and judgment that gave W the right to issue two tax cuts, and enact an additional entitlement program without a single thought to how to pay for them.

No recession in history since the Depression has lasted as long as this one. So, what makes you think this one would not be over by now?

Just as FDR's actions prolonged the Depression, there is every reason to believe that BHO's actions have not helped, and perhaps prolonged, the current recession.

The reality is the recession was an EXCUSE for the Left to drop a trillion dollars in political payoffs onto the debt load faced by our descendants.

It is unconscionable.

The same law and judgment that gave W the right to issue two tax cuts, and enact an additional entitlement program without a single thought to how to pay for them.

The Bush tax cuts paid for themselves (as tax cuts usually do). I've shown you this fact numerous times. While the small '01 GWB tax cuts were unproductive (predictably, because they weren't appropriately targeted), the '03 cuts caused the biggest surge in revenue in American history:

Year GDP-US Total Revenue-total
2001 10286.2 3833.89
2002 10642.3 3330.71
2003 11142.1 3764.08
2004 11867.8 3932.09
2005 12638.4 4306.69
2006 13398.9 4763.17
2007 14077.6 5237.39
2008 14441.4 4989.70 (estimated)

It is laughable that you would mention Medicare Part D as an example of something Bush did wrong. First, it was trivial in amount compared with the massive spending that has occurred under Obama. And secondly, because the Obama health care reform bill took a fiscally responsible Medicare Part D and made it a fiscal train wreck.

I opposed Part D but in retrospect it was a good program. UNTIL the Democrats got hold of it. And literally RUINED it.

Part D is no longer GWB's problem. It is now Obama's pile of shit.
