TRAVEL RELATED

Well we left Salzburg yesterday and arrived here in Munich...just one day here. We head to the airport this afternoon to fly back to Heathrow and I will bid my travel companion farewell as he heads back to New York to see his family. I will remain in London for a couple more days, head out to my cousins to say goodbye and collect my resupply checked bag, then go shopping for chocolate for the grandkids....they love Cadbury...the real Cadbury, not that Hersey stuff they call Cadbury in the states. I also am going to try to bring back a new cheese I fell in love with earlier in the trip...Shropshire Blue. It's a yellow blue cheese with a mild flavor, love it. I believe I can bring some back if it's shrink wrapped, Tesco does that so I'll be searching for that. It will complement the Red Cow Parmigiana Reggiano I will also be packing in my checked bag. Not carry on as the cargo hold is not heated so it's like a nice 10 hour fridge. I just have to declare it apparently.

It's been a fantastic trip, I've broken some long held stereotypes (I never liked Paris before, now it's not so bad)....Germany....eh still might have some but it's ok that I'm only here one day.

I will be very glad to get back to the UK, its like a second home for me...then on Wednesday I'll head back to home and see what new chaos and challenges await there :-)

I also will be looking to start easing back some funds that I liquidated to pay for this trip...I over liquidated so have a nice chunk of cash I'll be moving back into the market in about a week...not all at once but over time...I also have to deal with increased estimated taxes and next year maybe increased healthcare costs due to my screw up with my ROTH IRA conversions. Sigh.

I did buy some JNJ yesterday though...so starting with some small buys.

Thanks everyone for putting up with these postings...I'll be getting back to more investing related stuff as I get back to the US.
