I hate to say this but I'm really beginning to question the IQ level and honesty level of police as a whole. The reality is that it has never really been that high. We were better off in this country because of local control and a legal system that made it possible to check them. People go into law enforcement because they like the power that goes with it. It's not much fun to stand in an intersection for hours directing traffic when the light goes out. So they have to have something to make up for it. The Jude case is a good example of the "us against them" mentality that goes with the job. You can't change it, you can only control it.
