Clinton was very lucky with the markets. Having Greenspan lowering rates during most of his time in office helped. This poured huge sums into tax coffers thereby lowering the national debt. Protect the enviroment? Yes, I agree but look at what population explosions have done to the amazon jungle and parts of Africa. USA will be no different if it can't protect it's borders. Can this rally continue into tomorrow perhaps as the momentum today was huge and may continue as more shorts cover. This may be a repeat of what I've said before more shorts will cover and buyers will start coming in. Mutual funds will also start to buy or get left behind. We may have seen computer buy programs kicking in today. Can the bears mount a counter strike? Will see.
