The news hit at 6.08 pm and GLW closed at after hour lows at 8.72 finance.yahoo.com . Today’s heavy volume and rising stock price at the close indicates that momentum will carry the nasdq and glw higher tomorrow. Although the inevitable analyst downgrades in the am may hurt glw initially. They should have downgraded the stock when it was 20, 15, or even 10. Makes you wonder about their motivation... Most folks expect amat to report good news on Tuesday and would be more inclined to bid up stock. Especially in light of csco's news and effect on the markets.
