You are correct when you say "we are a nation of laws.." For some reason part of the population is too willing to overlook this fact. Instead of being curious or insulted because of what MAY HAVE transpired there are a few wondering "why make a big deal out of a sexual fling?"

The indisgretion SEEMS to be a character flaw in Mr. Bill, that is entirely different. IF..it is no "big thing" to Bill then why did he lie about it with Ms. Flowers? Simple, had he told the truth he would've lost the candidacy..he almost did anyway. So by admitting it now the American public should be looking back at what was at stake and why he lied about his affairs back then and prompted Mrs. Flowers to do the same (or at least that is what I understand the truth to be.)

Hopefully this does not drag on much longer. It reflects badly on all of us..no matter what side of the fence we stand (or straddle.)
