Ah, hadn't thought of that. Makes good sense.

But, she said gloomily, we're not gonna stay in this trading range for long if we see much more market action like Friday's...

Wasn't short the market, either: thought about doing it late Wednesday, then on Thursday was very glad I hadn't, and figured 1) that Friday would be dull (and for the first couple of hours it was), and 2) that given the long weekend it'd be better to wait till Monday. Damn.
