From the looks of anandtech.com , you seem to be somewhat exaggerating the "domination" of the P4 on 3dmax. It does ok, wins some, loses some. This is, of course, with an 850e/Rambus system, officially eol'ed by Intel, which nobody is actually buying these days. "Domination" just ain't what it used to be.
