Damascus Radio: US to be “big loser” in any war against Iraq
Damascus Radio stressed on Tuesday that the “war planned by the US against Iraq…(comes) from (Israeli Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon's ideas and proposals”.
The state-run radio spoke of the wide international opposition and rejection to such a war, citing the Arabs’ unanimous rejection, and that of France, Germany and Russia. In addition, the Syrian radio concluded that the “big loser” in this war will be the
United States, hence it “will lose its credibility, role and the people and government’s confidence”, SANA reported.

Damascus radio: US lies typify aftermath of September 11
Damascus Radio reported on Sunday that the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks against the United States was characterized by a “series of lies by the US Administration”, in which the “hawks are enthusiastic”.
The state-run radio noted the continuous campaign of slander against Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Iraq “in reflection of a pro-Israeli approach”, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
