This Revenant Killer just started Shipping

betabites.com

since DarkStone is a true 3D game (unlike Diablo-2)
Revenant will really have it's hands full competing.
It's funny how they changed the marketing ploy from
stressing the 3D part, to stressing the Level maker
that's included with Revenant. Guess DarkStone will
have an even greater impact on Revenants chances.
This games's out since Tuesday, and already it's
on top of EBWorld's PC hottest sellers list.

I think D2's use of sprites will make it's 8 person
Battle.net games more playable. I doubt the Internet
play of either of these 2 games will ever take off.
It's the Battle.net play on D2 that makes it so great.
Blizzard will undoubtable ignore all the competitors
talk of 3D, and focus one this internet play aspect.
Also, Revenant and DarkStone will have high hardware
requirements; >333Mhz, 64MB-RAM, 400MB-HD, 3D,
and not every kid who got a 233 Pentium last year will
be able to play these games, but D2 will be playable.
