NOVELL TO OFFER ACTIVEX CONTROLS THROUGH DEVELOPER SITE

PROVO, Utah (Dow Jones)--Novell Inc. (NOVL) began offering Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) ActiveX Controls through its DeveloperNet Internet site.

In a press release Tuesday, Novell said the move will give developers access to tools including VB, PowerBuilder, and Delphi.

ActiveX Controls software components can be integrated into browsers, productivity suites and development tools.

DeveloperNet provides developers with the resources and support to build applications.
