Igene will be displaying at Aqua-Sur, Puerto Montt, Chile, the week of March 20-23. Aqua Sur is the most important biannual aquacultural event of the Southern Hemisphere. It will take place for the first time in Puerto Montt, in the 10th Region in Chile in 2002. Aqua Sur will partly consist of an International Conference, from 18th to 19th March, which will bring together the principal players of the aquacultural world. It will also include an International Exhibition, where progress in equipment, technology, and the services offered by the industry’s suppliers will be presented. Both events have been conceived to support the national industry, positioning Chile as a world leader in the development of aquacultural activities, and to continue to expand the international reputation that the delicious Chilean seafood enjoys in foreign markets.
