It's frustrating as heck. After 15 months of capping and the generation of shares for sale from thin air, we have this new development that makes my past posts look even more like whining. :-( By mid-2004, clinicals will also be launched for CMV (phase Ib/IIa), HCV and (unless things have changed) smallpox. $10M and a "go" from Schering Plough, mid-year, would look great if there is guidance about a good royalty. I will take a wild stab guess and say that de Rosen got 12%, given decent sales. It's cool, IMO, that the molecule has life and that two companies are still aimed -- albeit cautiously -- at that &%$@ common cold. I wonder if VPHM has retained rights for any potential use against weaponized picornaviruses.
