This is just another symptom of the core dilema ; SUNW not putting they're all behind Java. They are preaching but not doing; not using it on their web site and not showcasing how they've used Java internally (if at all) to revamp their IT infrastructure.

They're good at pumping out tool packages but we now need to see real implementations solving real IT issues. By committing to Java at this level they will no doubt accelerate the work needed to make Java more stable/better performing as well as provide the framework/patterns for the corporate world to build from.
