Meet One of James Risen's Sources

By Thomas Joscelyn

Risen, the NY Times journalist who broke the NSA eavesdropping story on December 16, claims that his sources have only the best intentions and are "patriots." In the aftermath of his bombshell he has spent a good amount of his time defending his sources.

Well, meet Russell Tice, one of Risen's sources.

Note:
The NSA revoked Tice's security clearance in May of last
year based on what it called psychological concerns and
later dismissed him. Tice calls that bunk and says that's
the way the NSA deals with troublemakers and whistleblowers.
Today the NSA said it had "no information to provide."
Many in the mainstream media are quick to label these sources "whistleblowers" who have the "courage" to tell the truth and bring their story to the public. This is what happened in the Joseph Wilson-Valerie Plame matter and yet, Wilson's story was a total fraud.

Let's be mindful of that lesson as the details concerning Risen's sources come to light.
