Yes, it's attractive, for some strange reason. But you don't get all fearful over potential, I don't think. You keep your key on potential and try to contain it. If and when potential threatens to go kinetic, then you get fearful.

There are lots of potential threats out there. And lots of actual ones. We deal with the actual ones, of course. As for the potential ones, there's someplace on the continuum where they become actual or near actual. That's when you get scared. Sure, killer bees might one day reach Virginia, but it's way too soon to be running around in a bee keepers getup. Meanwhile we look for ways to contain or eliminate the threat and stay alert to news that they've passed some threshold and the treat is near. You don't get scared because killer bees find Virginia "attractive." They gotta get here before they're an actual threat.
