First, I'm sure everyone joins me in wishing your wife a rapid and complete recovery. It is easy when one just looks at the financial side of the biotech and pharma industry to forget the most significant issue of all - that there are real people out there suffering and dying, and the true biotech breakthroughs should not be measured in dollars but in terms of their effect on people.

On the much more mundane CRO issue, I see that Covance warned today, although it can't have been much of a surprise given the lack of any dramatic reaction by the market.
