Of course they did. The Israeli's were buzzing the Syrian President's house! They can do that because the Syrians have had all their planes shot down by the Israelis. They are afraid to fly the few they have left.

The Israelis could take Damascus in three days if they wanted to. The problem would be, what to do then? The same problem we have. We and the Israelis are now seen as "the big bullies" who can beat anybody.
