I agree with all you have said, but I also see what looks like a short interest at 5 million shares plus. It won't take much to force the shorts to cover. They either will want to preserve their profits or stop the bleeding.
The problem is that this stock is now a value stock (undervalued). It is out of favor much like many in this class.
The key will come in the before-hours trading. The daytraders help drive the stock down and they'll be glad to take it the other way for a quick gain. I'll be watching to see if VISX management has any savvy.
