Okay you win. Democrats and poor people are to blame for everything.

As if. 7.5 years of prosperity, surplus, almost zero unemployment, much less welfare, racial unrest and crime, paying down debt under Clinton and not one positive word.

Reagan put the S+L deregulation into effect and not one admission. Reagan cut federal mental hospital budgets and threw homeless onto the streets. No admission just deflection. Rich in the US have lowest tax rates of any western country. No admission. Rich take advantage of huge write-offs and often actually pay less than your average working stiff. No admission.

You need to quit making excuses and open your eyes to the obvious. Unless the rich pay taxes the entire social system disappears and you have greater national debt, higher interest rates, higher local and sales taxes, chaos, no environmental protection, under-funded law enforcement, security only for those who can afford it, poverty, health care crises, public schools bankrupt, racial strife, riots, higher crime, a permanent underclass and even charities go bust. This could be the Bush-Cheney dream but it's not the American Spirit. The giant flaw in the low-tax formula is that lower revenues mean budget cuts and there is simply nowhere to cut or they would have done it already. Bush is already in a fix as we can't even pay for the last tax cut and have to borrow to pay it. And already even the military cannot fund basic programs, esp with the Bush priority to fund the most expensive and unnecessary boodoggle ever, Star Wars. Also with the energy cartel ripping off everyone that's a big drain as well. And don't tell me Democrats are responsible for that. Also while you avoid blaming the real perpetrators of the S+L debacle you take the cynical oppoortunity to bash McCain for what he did during the cover-up 12 years ago as if he's corrupt. Well now that experience seems to have taught him that soft money is the root of political evil. He grows as a man and stands up to his corrupt party machine and calls for campaign finance reform which could clean up the system. Instead of praising him now however you diss him. Shame on you. He is the conscience of your party. You'd rather no0t have a conscience I guess.

Go back to watching Rush, attacking the weak and inventing excuses. Unless Bush is stopped by the end of 4 years expect greater federal deficits, mass unemployment, more division between rich and poor, the middle-class in a bind, the energy cartel with windfalls profits AND tax breaks at the same time thereby stealing our tax breaks, lower taxes but lower incomes as well, the environment raided on all fronts and damaged permanently, very little international leadership, the disintegration of our EURO alliances, malaise everywhere, increased corruption stemming from soft money and inside deals with federal money, higher crime rates and possibly race riots. All it would take it a spark under those conditions.

This may be your idea of paradise. You can buy yourself an extra yacht or admire those who do while needy people suffer and profits are made plundering our national natural treasures. But it's a fool's paradise. And someday you will wake up and realize it's not a dream but a nightmare.
