Republicans do indeed want war because war is hugely profitable for the likes of Halliburton, Bechtel and all of the other defense contractors.

Halliburton used to have some 1/4 of its people working on Iraq. That there is some huge business. $8.8 BILLION of Iraqi oil money disappeared under Bush. That there is some huge wads of cash.

The Iraqi defense ministry has managed to lose some $1 BILLION. That's pretty serious money as well.

Iraq is simply a money laundering scheme for Republicans and their cronies. US taxpayer money from working families goes into the pot and Halliburton, Bechtel, Custer Battles, Blackwater, GE, GM, etc. etc. get it coming out the other side whether or not they do one lick of work to earn it.

Heck, even Subway is having a go of it in Iraq.

Republican ignorance and gullibility is astonishing but no longer an acceptable excuse. I blame YOU for Bush and for Iraq.
