To the MVEE Board - www.siliconinvestor.com

I am interested in any information regarding the Milan Exp.
and any other "real" news concerning other projects that GG may have spoken of that I may have missed along the way.
I recently saw several Rubenstein press releases and would be grateful if someone would post either the link or the articles.

You want MVEE comfort ?
No bull …….here's what I know .
I tell you now - I have a position ……it is hedged.
I can play this trade both ways …….win lose or draw ?
Its just stock
I don't fall in love with stocks, or CEO's.

It is important to remember that Hollywood financing, and general Wall St financing are diametrically opposed……….they are not even near in similarities.

As I'm sure you all know, Equity financing is currently 'thin' for 'acceptable' risks, i.e. NASDAQ SmCap & N-MKT or Amex.
OTC B/B financing is like threading silk through a micro needle while balancing on one foot on noodle pudding, while reciting Hamlet backwards in Yiddish !

MVEE and GG are such a financing risk.

However appealing the past may have been ----that was the 70s & the 80's.

The GG first question I asked myself is " Do these guys have a real business anymore ? " …the resounding answer - Yes.
Then , "can they produce sufficient movies to create the brand-name that would replicate the 80's success ? ".
Lastly, "is there a financing source that would roll the dice to the tune of about $15m that would play ? "
I began financial due diligence, had the meetings, bought the t shirt

When I read the 1st Tenzer draft of the L.P I was shocked.
First, the Off balance sheet method made no sense.
It seemed confused, it was.

Then the legal disclosure…….. it read like a season of Falcons Crest.
Everybody was suing everybody.
The only legal name NOT found in the document is Millberg Weiss < class action Mel was no-where to be seen>.

I hear they raised nothing, nada , not a drop. Was this a reflection of MVEE/GG or was this Tricky Ricky Hans Bach III at work ?

I learned through the loop that the road-trip had gone well In NYC. GG had been shown around to about 20 or 30 3rd tier shops. Dominic and Dominic had shown interest. Cowan liked it, Furman Selz had smiled, GKN had circled a bit, Sharpe was into it, a few funds had shown interest.
No LP documents had been delivered to placement agent - Alex Wescott . Wescott claimed Tenzer Greenblatt were still authoring the Dox , they'd be 7-10 days.

Then GG had an afternoon at Planet Hollywood.

200 typical NYC brokers, and about 5 or 6 real buyers.
GG then went to Chicago. I heard from an attendee <Gruntal> that the GG team outnumbered the audience 2 to 1.
Jeff Volk wanted to go home ......

Next - Minneapolis. It was reported to me by a colleague from the De-Bartola group that GG never went there < he had gone to meet them > they had left to fly back to Vegas to begin shooting Junkie. Golan stayed in Vegas and Globus went home to Israel.

The MVEE COO admin-all purpose man - Alan Greenblatt remained in NYC to aid the completion of the L.P - which took another 9 weeks to finally be distributed to potential buyers.

Now I was concerned.

GG had left the task of raising $15,000,000 to Tricky Ricky Bach. This was not good.

Wescott sent out 200 L.P's……not a stick came in.
100's of calls were made
Nothing.
Junkie was burning production money, but they had raised $1.5 the year before so they had money …..didn't they ?

I heard that in Vegas they were locking the cast in there rooms at night in case they ran for lack of pay.

I hear Bach was on holiday through the entire period from GG in NYC with the institutions + the Roadshow + the LP Lawyers , Junkie production , the frantic calls for bridge capital , the faxes and the calls at home , eventually the Israelis realised Bach and Wescott
was no where to be found.

With Junkie completed ,
Golan & Globus begun lining up Delta Force

I think Globus is a survivor ….a very A type personality. I think he's made plenty of $ over the years. I think Golan is an artist. Money will always slip through his fingers as he obsessively goes about his moviemaking passion.

I think that its about time a group of wealthy individuals put some money behind these guys.

Anyone truly interested
