BOB: Armstrong has made many good calls, but quite a few awful ones as well. He was right on stocks and bonds last summer, but disastrously wrong on the yen. He was totally wrong on oil a few years ago. His call for new lows in the stock market this year also looks to be way off base. I still see real short-term US rates as the golden key and they are coming down.

BTW, he has been calling for $200 gold for quite some time. So this is not a new forecast
