The posting has just been getting too bitter and inflamed. I want everybody to "hang loose" a little.

This is coincident with a number of recent developments - the arrest of the Toronto Islamist plotters, the arrest of the Florida Islamist plotters, followed by the NYT's irresponsible and harmful disclosure of the SWIFT program.

I think people are increasingly frustrated with the failure of a segment of the US population to take seriously the terrorist threat. Compound that with frustration over moral equivalency and political correctness that seems to infect our society. Perhaps it bubbles over a bit here.

Could we be at a tipping point here? I'm thinking the fall elections will provide a window into how many are thinking.
