CB, the UN has NEVER agreed on what the definition of torture is. Everyone and every country has their own definition, it would appear. Unfortunately.

And do you have a trustworthy link for this statement:

Well, I guess we could dance around the definition of torture. The administration says that unless the person had broken bones or wounds that leave permanent scars, that's not torture.

That's the kind of rhetoric that is tossed around that does great harm to Americans, our Military, and all citizens of the world in general.
