gtw hit much higher stock prices than dell ever did and is much closer to $5 now. so are gf, jdsu,and lu and xrx and nt and rmbs and pcln.
many stocks were higher than dell's $60 and are now under $5.

thus, there were many better stocks than dell to short 1/00 and many better than dell to start a thread re getting ready to dive under $5. an honest, fair man would admit defeat re this thread. nasdaq has been slaughtered. it is down over 60% from 3/00. dell has done better than the index during that time frame.the stocks i named above-and many others have done worse than the index. |
