No, because abundant shale gas here does not do much for places that don't have domestic NG resources or places that do have a MSW (muni solid waste) issue. Roman Abramovich, the guy I just posted about up thread would seem to have a lot of experience of the energy sector given his background. The fact that he has jumped into gasification/fuel cell technology in a significant way would indicate he thinks there is a future for it. I think the combo of gasification/fuel cells that he has honed in on is worth monitoring.
